Italian Gilded Mirror, Early 19th Century

This Italian incised giltwood mirror features a dramatic silhouette of curves and deep relief. The gilding is gently faded overall, typical of its age, revealing some of the red hues. The frame is solid carved wood with wire mounting in place to hang vertically. The mirror glass itself is not original. Made in Italy.
