Oversized 19th Century French Biot Jar Pot / Planter

A beautiful example of a 19th-century Biot jar, traditionally used in southern France for storing olives or oil. This hand-thrown terracotta vessel features a classic bulbous form with a wide rolled rim, and is finished with warm amber glaze drips that cascade from the lip—hallmarks of authentic Biot pottery.  A sculptural and functional piece—ideal for garden design, interior decor, or as a collector’s item.  Excellent antique condition with age-appropriate patina and wear
